This month, Deacon and Jones (D&J) has been appointed as the QS by the North West’s Michelin starred chef Paul Heathcote for the continuing expansion of this successful restaurant business across six key sites in the region. Paul Heathcotes Restaurants Limited has the ambitious plan to grow, ensuring its high quality food offer is complimented by high-quality design. Heathcotes’ flagship restaurant, the Longridge, in Preston - which has been described as ‘one of the best in the world’ - is a winner of countless awards and is a former ‘Egon Ronay Chef of the Year's restaurant’. Deacon and Jones Partner, Tim Taylor, says “I have worked closely with Paul and his team over the last ten years and each site has its own set of constraints always set against a background of a challenging programme”. Deacon and Jones’ team will work on the projects across the next twelve months, with openings staggered across the period. The first is due to open in November 2007.
